PUYALLUP, Wash. — The world's largest inflatable event is coming to the Washington State Fairgrounds this weekend, featuring a massive 24,000-square-foot bounce house that can accommodate up to 450 people per hour.

The Big Bounce America opens Saturday and runs through Sunday, with additional sessions scheduled for the following Friday through Sunday. The touring event requires 60 blowers running continuously to keep the main attraction inflated.

"You walk in there and it kind of looks like that game Candyland has come to life," tour manager Noa Visnich said. "We have DJs, confetti bubbles, snow machines, ball pits, slides, obstacle courses — just in this one."

The event features seven massive inflatable attractions total, including a 900-foot obstacle course called "The Giant," a sports arena called "Sport Slam," a space-themed area called "airSPACE" and the newest addition, "OctoBlast," a deep-sea foam party inflatable.

Sessions are separated by age groups, and organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Participants must wear socks.

"The kids come and they are absolutely speechless," Visnich said. "When you see just how big this really is in person, the kids just get these huge smiles and it is so exciting. They will definitely want naps after this!"

Tickets start at $32 for the main Big Bounce attraction.
