From great bands to documentaries to exhibits, Art Zone’s Nancy Guppy has all the events to check out this summer. #newdaynw

SEATTLE — Art Zone’s Nancy Guppy always knows what’s up! Here’s her list for summer entertainment.

1) Sparklebarn— a charming and cool vintage furniture and décor shop next to the National Nordic Museum.

2) The Love Markets, June 28, Royal Room, an extremely talented and entertaining local band (they perform in black slips!) who play music that they describe as “Weimar Berlin meets New Orleans.”

3) The Seattle Recycled Art Show, opens July 12th

4) Chatwin Arts, “(Un)Seen Women,” a two person show featuring photos by Adair Freeman Rutledge and paintings by Sam Dewey, thru 6/28,

5) “We Ride Why” / SIFF, 6/28-29, a locally produced documentary about cyclists who ride in dedication to loved ones they’ve lost to cancer and in support of loved ones in the midst of their cancer battle.
