Seattle Kraken release 2025 preseason schedule

The Kraken will play six preseason games, starting at home Sept. 21 against the Vancouver Canucks.

SEATTLE — Seattle Kraken fans get ready, because hockey will be returning sooner than you think.

The Kraken will play six preseason games, starting at home Sept. 21 against the Vancouver Canucks. Then Seattle hits the road for three games to play Calgary, Edmonton, and the Canucks.

The Kraken wraps up its preseason hosting Calgary Sept. 29 and Edmonton on Oct. 10.

Prospects start camp

The team kicked off development camp Monday with medicals and fitness testing. Seattle's camp roster features 30 players, including all six picks from the 2025 National Hockey League (NHL) Draft. First-round pick Jake O'Brien and last year's top draft pick Berkly Catton are just two of the NHL prospects on the roster.
