PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State football team has added a matchup with Eastern Washington to its 2030 schedule. The two teams will meet in Pullman on September 14, 2030 and WSU will pay EWU $550,000 to play the game.
These two teams have faced each other five teams and the Cougs hold a 4-1 series lead. WSU won the last meeting in 2018.
Eastern's lone victory came in 2016 when future Coug Gage Gubrud threw for five touchdowns and rushed for one more and Cooper Kupp had 12 catches for 206 yards and three touchdowns.
The first game between the two schools was played in 1907 and resulted in a 46-0 WSU victory.
