WSU forward LeJuan Watts enters transfer portal

Watts averaged 13.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game in his one season in Pullman.

PULLMAN, Wash. — David Riley is officially on the search for a brand new starting five next season as forward LeJuan Watts has entered the transfer portal.

Watts averaged 13.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game in his one season in Pullman after following Riley from Eastern Washington, where Watts was the 2024 Big Sky Freshman of the Year.

He becomes the fourth Cougar to enter the portal this offseason and with the pending departures of seniors Cedric Coward, Ethan Price and Dane Erikstrup, the Cougar program has been pulverized this offseason.

WSU will only carry over two players, Tomas Thrastarson and Rihards Vavers, who made starts at different times this season due to injuries.

Watts will be a hot commodity in the portal and there are rumblings he has already received significant NIL offers.

He was an All-WCC Honorable Mention this season.
