Our Women’s Ministry centers on relationships between all women. It is strategically designed to touch, empower, and enhance every facet of a woman’s life. It is a vision of unity where the prevailing countenance of feminine grace exudes a gentleness that is heralded as strength: where peace insists on reigning; a kind word is freely passed around; and love is expected to stretch to great lengths. Our vision for the program is for all women to come together as a God-breathed organism of sisters, daughters, mothers, friends and life-time mentors who set an atmosphere of relational well-being. With a doctrinally sound and Spirit-led approach to ministry, we seek to help all women discover their true identity in Christ, and become the woman God created her to be by meeting each woman at the point of her need.
Every woman who is a member of KCM is automatically a member of our Women’s Ministry. She participates in the ministry by giving back to the church either financially or by volunteering her services in other ministries such as Ushers, Greeters, or even The Children’s Ministry. Through the Women’s Ministry, we pray they will begin to understand who they really are, operate in the purpose to which God has called them and touch the lives of other women needing healing and restoration from God. We bring in a variety of Spirit-led speakers to empower our women, along with working with various agencies such as domestic violence centers, nursing homes, meals on wheels and a host of community services and events.
