Seattle Kraken 2025-26 schedule: Five most intriguing home games

Seattle is just 85 days away from the Kraken's first regular-season game.

SEATTLE — The Seattle Kraken unveiled the team's 2025 schedule on Wednesday, which includes a number of intriguing matchups at Climate Pledge Arena.

Western Washington is just 85 days away from the return of Kraken hockey, as the team's home opener will be Oct. 9 against the Anaheim Ducks. As the home of the Kraken, every game not on a national broadcast will be televised locally exclusively on KONG.

Here are five home games worth circling on your calendar for the 2025-26 campaign.

October 11 vs. Vegas Golden Knights

The appeal of this game is pretty straightforward. The rival Golden Knights make their first trip to Seattle on a Saturday night in what should be a packed house at Climate Pledge Arena. Vegas has been one of the Western Conference's top teams in recent years, and will be a good measuring stick game to see how much the Kraken improved this offseason. Plus, the Kraken depart for one of two six-game road trips after this clash, so it will be two weeks before the home fans can see the team on its own ice after this game.

November 26 vs. Dallas Stars

Another west rival, the Stars traded a key member of their roster to Seattle early in the offseason. Mason Marchment comes to the Emerald City after helping lead Dallas to three consecutive Western Conference Final appearances. The two squads also will have just met less than a month prior in Dallas, so there could be some tension on the ice.

February 28 vs. Vancouver Canucks

The closest team to the Kraken geographically, matchups between Vancouver and Seattle always are intense. This will also be the Kraken's first home game after the Olympics break in February, which will see Seattle go 21 days between contests while players compete for their nations. This also kicks off a six-game homestand for the Kraken.

March 15 vs. Florida Panthers

Now the two-time defending Stanley Cup Champions, this will be Florida's lone trip to Seattle during the 2025-26 season. Kraken defenseman Brandon Montour was part of the 2024 Florida team that won a championship, and likely remains close with many of his former teammates. This will be a tough game for Seattle as they will be on the second half of a back-to-back after playing the Canucks in Vancouver the night before.

April 2 vs. Utah Mammoth

After the second six-game road trip of the season, the Kraken return home and welcome in Utah for the first time with its new name, the Mammoth. The team officially chose a new mascot after playing its first season as the Utah Hockey Club, and this will be the team's lone visit to Climate Pledge Arena.

Ticket packages also went on sale Wednesday, and single-game tickets will be made available later this month. For more info on purchasing packs, visit NHL.com/Kraken/tickets. See the full schedule below.
